Dr Wright offers a range of surgical procedures and treatments for cancerous, pre-cancerous and non-cancerous / cosmetic indications including:
- Skin biopsy, shave excision, curettage and cautery, hyfrecation.
- Excision (removal) of skin cancers (including on the head and neck).
- Removal of benign moles, unwanted lumps and bumps.
Prior consultation is required and pricing is set by the private facility
If your mole or skin lesion requires surgical excision or removal this is always discussed first (in detail) at consultation to ensure you understand the possible diagnosis, what the procedure entails (and costs involved), recovery and risk of any scarring or adverse outcomes and potential further treatment requirements. These are specific to you individually which is why consultation prior to surgical treatment is important.
Surgical procedures can only be performed at Sulis Hospital (Bath) and not at Heart of Bath Medical Practice due to Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
